Tacto is the first short film we made as Huo, far away from the advertisement and spots. We write the script from a brainstorm and bring to life our project. We work just a few people, so much so that we need to complete the cast. We send it for a cellphone contest and finish in 4th place.
This project born in my third year of college, for the fiction class. It was a difficult process since script, because I don´t like a lot the story, but have to put on screen anyway. We have five projects at a time, this is one of them, and with my classmates need to finish all of them in two weeks, change from one position to another, so is a complete challenge to concentrate in the direction till you need to thing in four short films more.
This project is a complete medium script but for the thesis, we only choose to make a teaser from it, so in that time I need to have two production processes, for the medium story I didn´t film and for this version. This script born from personal experience and make me grow a lot, more in the set, because I had experiences I didn´t have before, like direct my own father, bring a lot of bad emotions to him and the calm down. Maybe direction is not what I like in the cinema, but this teaser teach me a lot in that field.
My project for the documentary class. At that moment I had a lot of problems in my personal life, with friends and family about my time with the Tokio Hotel Fan club, that make me found someone that have the same problems and put her in the center of the cameras. It was a completely impressive process, this type of cinema is like that, but putting your problems in another person and watch it, maybe I needed to mature a lot to face that.
This exercise is given to us in the third year of college. Our teacher give us the script and command us that our scene needs to have the same visual and essence from the original version. We need to put a lot of effort into acting, art, scenography, and light to found the same essence from The Godfather movie with a low cost and little knowledge typical of young cinema students.
